Field tools (fields.write)
Set the value of a custom field on one file. An app has this only if an administrator agreed fields.write for it and you agreed it when connecting.
set_field
Section titled “set_field”Changes thingsScope: fields.write
Set a custom field’s value on one file. Use list_fields first for the field’s id; a field with a fixed list of values takes only one of them. The value must suit the field: a number for a number field, a date such as 2026-10-06 for a date field, true or false for a yes/no field. A field cannot be emptied from here, and governance labels (sensitivity, retention) are set by people in Foldr, never from here. One file per call.
